last night was SO. MUCH. FUN.!!!!!! so i coordinated a WBAR concert at ADP…this band called DMBQ was headlining (TOO MANY ABBREVES!). they are from japan, and very crazy. click here to check out their myspace.

so anyway, there was a crowd of about 50, and EVERYONE got SO into it and was moshing and just wiling out in general. i know it’s really cheesy sounding, but i think everyone was getting a lot of aggression out…including myself. it felt really good just to jump around like a banshee (i’m pretty sure that’s not at all PC to say, but whatev).

i was holding up his foot. AH i can’t even explain how good the concert was. not the music itself necessarily, but they just put on SUCH a good show. and the lead singer put on some gas mask or something and was just screaming into a mic and standing on top of an amp at the very end of the show…RIGHT as a public safety officer came in. HAHAHA. he was SOOOO freaked out. the grad student proctors were like “what exactly made you think that this was going to fly?” (the music was like 15000 times louder than at any other event we’ve had so far this year.)

but it gets BETTER! for some reason their manager wasn’t picking up her phone or some shit, so they had no place to stay so i offered to let them stay at adp for the night and they did!!!!!!! and me and my friend gabe just stayed up till like 4 am talking to these crazy japanese dudes about politics and the differences between america and japan. except he was doing most of the talking, since he speaks japanese and 3 of the 4 dudes in the band spoke pretty bad english. and they wore SUCH COOL CLOTHES! ugh i want to be them. it was a pretty outrageous night.
